A Synopsis of the Stable of "In the Margin" Groups - At first this site may look a bit daunting - but basically it is a Noticeboard concept, with a number of sub-groups.  Join as many or as few as you would like - they all have interesting and diverse interests. - Shani

         Writing in the Margins
          http://groups.yahoo.com/group/writinginthemargins

This is the original Yahoo Group from which the website and other “In the Margins” Groups have developed.

It is a cyber café run by writers for writers.  It offers a place for those who put pen to paper, in all styles and disciplines, to meet others, in a friendly and creative environment.

We aim to offer regular prompts and adhoc quotations, along with writing links, motivation and details of courses that are on offer to the local community, as well as a forum for discussing writing issues.

It has been described as “An eclectic mix of inspiration and genius; offering support, motivation and inspiration to those who want to write.”

Membership is free to all our sites, and encouraged to prevent spam.  Your details are used solely to provide you with the services on offer, and are never shared with any third-parties so you can subscribe with the confidence that your information will not be misused.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/readinginthemargins

This Group is designed as a virtual Reading Group.  It is a place to post reviews, recommendations and discuss the latest offerings of the popular printing houses, as well as swap information and links to useful places on the web.

You do not need to be a writer to join this group, merely enjoy the process of reading the written word.

                     Spinning in the Margins

Please join to make contact, share ideas, encourage and generally inspire others in this creative field.

Last but by no means least....by popular request

Moaning in the Margins

A place where everyone can get together and have a good "moan", knowing they are      not alone!!  There will be some tongue-in-cheek postings, along with serious issues raised, and attempts (hopefully) at some serious resolutions.
